CT Lab online symposium on Urbicide

Posted By on March 7, 2009

Starting on Tuesday, the CT Lab will be hosting the first of the 2009 symposia; this one will be on on Martin Coward’s recent book, Urbicide: The Politics of Urban Destruction (Routledge: 2008).  It’s going to be a great line-up of people and I am really looking froward to participating in it.  So far, the participants are:

  • Martin Coward (Sussex University),
  • Bryan Finoki (Subtopia),
  • Stephen Graham (University of Durham),
  • Tony Waters (Chico State),
  • Marc Tyrrell (Carleton University),
  • John Matthew Barlow (Concordia University), and
  • Antoine Bousquet (Birkbeck College, London).

Plus the usual suspects (Mike et alii).  The only thing that bother me is that the first posts go up the day I start my long delayed vacation!  Oh, well, I have internet access in the Dominican Republic.

LOL – I guess I’ll just have to suffer, making my comments from the beach ;-)
